Rayn Fall Dance Studio est. 2003 is a Pre-professional dance and creative movement program for ages 2+. RFDS strives to offer the highest quality of dance instruction while offering programs that parallel the needs of the community we serve. Our mission is to provide people of diverse backgrounds with an opportunity to receive training in dance while receiving exposure in the allied arts.
Founded in 2007, the New Generation Scholars (NGS) Program is a youth development initiative rooted in Black diasporic studies, political education, and radical engagement. NGS supports young people in deepening their understanding of self, community, and global Black histories while challenging Westernized frameworks of learning.
What began as a leadership and study abroad program has evolved into an interconnected network of initiatives including the Intergenerational Institute, Youth Restorative Justice Circle Work Collective, Black Femme Freedom School, and Young Artist Archival Fellowship designed to cultivate intellectual growth, creative expression, and community resilience. Through free, hybrid programming, NGS connects Baltimore youth to global communities while honoring Black traditions of learning, healing, and freedom-making.
